Each portrait is hand-burned with hours of intense attention to detail to capture the likeness of your pet. I use basswood wood rounds and plaques for my portraits. This type of wood is smooth and burns evenly allowing me to create soft gradients and various textures.

Each wood burning comes with a hardware backing attached for easy hanging.

Memorial Gift wrapping:

If your pet or the pet you are commissioning has crossed the rainbow bridge, your order will come with a personalized memorial card with your pet's name along with a rainbow bridge sticker to honor their beautiful life and memory. This makes gifting extra special when sending your condolences to a friend/family member who have lost their pet or to honor your beloved pet 🤍

I began creating wood burned pet portraits over 8 years ago, refining my technique and artistic style through years of practice. My work focuses on capturing depth, light, and shadow through slowly building and layering gradients allowing each portrait to feel both detailed and expressive.

Each piece is finished with D-rings and hanging wire attached so your artwork arrives ready to hang and enjoy.

I do not use any fixatives on my finished pieces. Fixatives and lacquers have the potential to yellow over time and darken the natural tone of the wood. I prefer to preserve the raw, organic surface of the wood, allowing its natural texture and character to remain an essential part of the artwork.

You can personalize your portrait further by adding your pet's name to the wood burning. I carefully hand burn each name in calligraphy.

Stickers

You can also turn your wood burned artwork into custom stickers. Since they are die cut, they take on the natural shape of the wood adding a ton of character. They truly feel like mini wood burnings! Each sticker is approximately 3in.
